Anyone ever Snuba with the Stingrays?

My DH and DS are booked on an excursion with Princess (Grand) to snuba with stingrays? Anyone ever do this excursion? Did you book with the cruise line? Trying to see if any tour companies do these to compare price and duration and not having any luck.

As far as I know Kirk Sea Tours are the only company who do SNUBA in Cayman.

 

Basically, you dive on the end of a long hose with the tanks in a small inflatable boat on the surface. The Israelis developed the system years ago to get round local laws, which restrict diving instruction with regular equipment to instructors.

 

I guess it could be fun but I prefer regular scuba gear.
