Wedding Dress

I'm getting married on Carnival Pride in April 2009 and I was wondering what types of dress other girls have worn. I was planning on doing a simple dress, but found one that I absolutely love. It's a little bit fancier, but I'm planning on cutting the train off. Has anyone else worn fancy dresses?????? Thanks!

I did a beach wedding in a full blown wedding gown, train and all. I had no problems at all with the heat, sand, or anything else. If you want to wear it, go for it!

If you search "Show Us your Dress" you will find a thread that has a bunch of pictures of the dresses those on this board are going to, or did, wear!

cruisefan...I completely understand. I too was looking at more simple 'beach' type dresses, but then I decided to try on this other one just for fun. I didn't want to take it off...I knew that I had found the one!! It is a full blown wedding dress with a train...I was thinking of leaving it bussled, but then I thought what the heck I bought it and it is beautiful so I'll just see what happens. I did debate with myself back and forth, but if it is truly the dress you want you won't be happy with any other one. It is your wedding day...so do whatever makes you happy!!

There are some beautiful dresses in this thread. But at the end of the day, this is your day and you should certainly wear the dress that you LOVE. :)
