Anyone stay at DA HOUSE?

 

What do you think for 1 night pre-cruise?

 

We are in mid 30's

We stayed at the Caleta House, which is their 2 bedroom apt. We had to check in at Da House. We looked at some rooms there also. It is very clean and reasonably priced for one night pre or post cruise. Only downside is the location is right in Old San Juan, and can be a little noisy at night. Other then that, it is a decent place.

We'll be staying there on Friday night and we saw it when we were in San Juan in Dec -nice and clean - have heard that it is noisy at night because of the popular bar downstairs - I liked the location. Will try and post when I get back and if you have looked at their site there is an article from one of the New York newspapers features DaHouse

I am taking the article along - thinking of using one of the local places for breakfast. It is like the B&B's in Europe - warning the office is on the second floor and there is no elevator - they are hauling our luggage for us - that was part of the deal when we booked the room:) Some of the rooms have a little fridge and stove top - the guy told us that the difference in the prices of the room had mostly to do with the view.
