Serenade- part obstructed junior suite or D1???

:o Hi. First time cruisers here (family of 4)....I am wondering if someone could give me there opinion of which would be better - a partially obstructed junior suite or a cat. D1 - balcony at the front of the ship???? Any opinions would be welcome. Thanks so much

 

BTW - I'm not sure why that thumbs down icon is there- and can't seem to remove it..... either way, it's a thumbs up

The JS partial obstruction is window washing equipment. It would not be very noticeable after the first time you see it, especially if it is on deck 10. I would go for the JS to have the extra space, if you can swing it. You will love the Serenade. We were on the 1-19-08 sailing and are going again next year!
