Explorer Question

I was told Explorer of the Seas does not have a pool with a retractable roof. However, in reading the detailed review of this ship on the RCI site, it says there is a solarium area with a pool and several hot tubs and a retractable roof for adults only. So, which is it? I'm booked on this ship for 1/23/09 and thought an inside pool would be wonderful for our first day out of NJ when we're still in cold weather. Thanks.

We didn't like the so-called "retractable" roof on the Radiance class ships--it was NEVER retracted! Having the roof closed makes the solarium feel like a green-house. Even with a/c blowing, it was very humid. And no tanning through that roof!

I LOVE the Voyager class solarium!
