Enough time for St. John's?????

I'm on the caribbean Princess in July. Cruised last summer to St. Thomas, and went to beautiful Trunk Bay on St. John's. It involved a taxi, ferry, then a taxi again. I think it took about an hour. The ship is in St. thomas from 7-3. Has anyone tried with those times to get over to St. John's? When do you think they'll let us off the ship? Is there a ferry schedule anyone has? Is it cutting it too close? I think it is, but would love to hear from others if it worked for them, especially with the early time for entrance to the beach. Thanks for your time.
