Cayman Shore Snorkeling

Anyone done this? Just booked it for my day in Grand Cayman...

Uh.... can anyone tell me why anyone would choose to do this as a ship excursion rather than independently!?!?

 

Eden Rock is literally 100 yards from the south terminal within easy sight of the ships. Anyone can rent snorkel gear from them, or you can jump in for FREE with your own gear. Why anyone would pay the cruise line anything for organizing this as a ship's excursion is simply beyond me. :eek:

I echo Drew's sentiment, if you can cancel for a full refund quickly, do it. Read any of the threads on this forum regarding Eden Rock, it's a great snorkel spot, but you REALLY don't need an "escort" from the ship to walk 100 yards along the coast ON A SIDEWALK.
