Cruise to nowhere April 18th

I am a thirty something stay at home mom going on a MUCH needed weekend trip with the girls and I have a few questions:

Will there be a formal/lobster night?

What are some of the "hidden" costs I keep hearing about? Specialty restaurants, I know-- and obviously alcohol-- apparently there is a $20 charge to use the hot tub in the spa (?). Any others? Is there a charge for activities?

If we bring a box of wine will the corkage fee be "per box" or "per 750 mls"? Technically there are 3-4 bottles of wine per box and being charged $45-60 a box would be a deal breaker.

Some great tips would be soooooo appreciated.

BTW- I post this at the other popular boards site too. Youre not having dejavu!

We have done several one nighters. There is no formal night, as of yet there is no lobster on any ship except in the speciality resturaunts.

I do not know about the spa.

Plain and simple the one nighters are party ships, common areas often crowded because it is simply to cold to spend any time outside after the ship has sailed. It is a party atmosphere from beginning to end.

I do not believe we incurred any "hidden" charges.
