flycess Posted February 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Has anyone had experience with cabs in Barbados? I know to go to the ones outside the port, but what is a realistic amount to expect to pay for a 3 or 4 hour tour of the island? Also, if we got out at one of the beaches is it easy to get a cab to come back for you at a specified time?
hamrag Posted February 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2008 We walked out of port, along the sea side of road for about a mile to the monument, and parliament square. Just keep right all the way. This is about it tiurist sight wise. We got a taxi tour for the two of us next to the monument/parliament area, which is an official taxi rank. For our 3 hour tour we were quoted $40 each, and we got him to end the tour at Carlisle Bay beach, next to Lobster Alive. Easy walk back, or go next door to Boatyard for taxi back at $3 or $4 each.
