How early can we board on sailing day?

This isn't our first cruise, but IS the first cruise we (hopefully) will be able to board well in advance of it sailing. Sailing time is 5 p.m. -- roughly how early could we get to the terminal and have access to the ship?

What line are you cruising with?

 

WE usually board as early as 11:30 some board even earlier than that. But your rooms will not be ready until 1:00 I think. We always board early and find our way around the ship, eat dinner, have a drink and book all of our reservations for restaurants and spa.

Spa, spa, spa!!!!! DH doesn't know it yet, but THAT'S why I want to be on board early -- to get spa appts :)

If you book early you usually can get the time you want...

 

 

Just being on the ship early makes my vacation have a nice start. I also enjoy getting a drink and just chatting with the bar tenders.....

As soon as they get all the old passengers off, they will begin boarding the new batch. It pays to get there early (11:30 or so) since you've paid for this day--boarding day IS day 1 !!!!!
