Single cruisers???

Anyone have any thoughts as to whether it is safe for a woman to travel on a cruise to the carribean alone???

You won't be alone. You'll be with two or three thousand other people. Sure, it's safe. Just do group tours, either with the ship or maybe meet up with someone here on the boards or after you sail, and offer to split a cab or something.

I'm single and just did a cruise - I went with a group of friends, but did several excursions on my own. I went with NCL's excursions, because I'd never cruised before and just like knowing that I didn't have to worry about anything. They also had a couple of "singles" dinners if you're into that kind of thing.

I planned to sail on the Pearl on April 4 as part of a group of 5, now it is just me. Are there activities or group excursions for singles? I have cruised several times but always as part of a couple. I'm not afraid to cruise alone but it would be nice to meet up with others as well.

 

I have been trying for 2 months to give away my spare ticket. I am shocked at how difficult it is. Who wouldn't want to take a free 9 day cruise?
