Post Cruise Gifts from Princess?

We gave my Mom and Dad a cruise on the CC for their 75th birthday.

 

It was there first Princess cruise and they loved it.

 

They got back home this week and my Mom recieved a 2 suiter piece of Samsonite luggage from Princess!

 

Not sure why she recieved the gift but she sure was impressed. Has anybody else experienced this?

That's great for her. We've been on 19 Princess cruises, and never received anything afterwards - but are taking the next cruise in two weeks anyway. Nancy

I've gotten an end-of-the-cruise gift on every Princess cruise I've been on....the invoice for my shipboard account :D

Princess was doing a promotion that included that luggage. Not everyone gets this. It was brief and only for select ships and dates.
