Barbie1 Posted September 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2004 We are a family of four, with two boy's ages 10 & 13. I need help in deciding what to do at our port's of call. Randi is booked for her horseback riding in Mazatlan. As a replacement I think my family would enjoy going to El Cid Resort, with the waterfalls and slides. BUT...reading the boards someone said go to El Cid Castilla ans another said to go to El Cid Moro. I am confused on this... As far as P.V. I don't know what to do. I think this is the port where we could do the canopy tours. Then Cabo, I would like to go to Sammy Hagars restaurant, but I need to do more here too. Any help will be greatly appreciated. We love going to beaches to just hang out, relax and to have a few cocktails. thanks, Barb
SoccerMom#3 Posted September 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2004 My 13 DS and I did the Dolphin swim in PV. It was expensive but well worth it.
chuckncole Posted September 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2004 We are doing horseback riding in Mazatlan with Randi's happy horses and we are doing the canapy strip line tour in PV ( LOs Vernos) I found lots of information on another site called (cruise mexico dot org) All one word. The dot is obviously a period.. It is encrypted since I cant post their address for some reason Best, Colleen Carl and Family
Just_Cruising Posted September 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I can speak specifically with regard to the El Cid Castilla. They tried to get us into their timeshare program but we politely said no thanks and walked in. My girls and I had a great time jumping off the waterfall. Lots of venders if you venture onto the beach. Didn't get service offered until tipping our waiter and then we were taken care of. Had a great time. Enjoyed seeing the city on the taxi ride there and back. Maybe Mazatlan Frank can help you compare the different El Cids.
TrayceeJ Posted October 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 12, 2004 This is another option for horseback riding on Stone Island in Mazatlan. We are going November 10th from the Diamond Princess with our daughters 5 and 13. http://www.mazatlan.com.mx/stoneisladtour/homepage.htm
