nseagirl Posted March 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2008 First of all, I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to answer my many questions. I really appreciate it!! Now, here's the next one... I have been reading that, at Nassau, you have a 10-15 minute walk to get to the excursion pick up area. Can someone elaborate on that? I have some mobility problems (bad knees and a bad hip) and just want to know how much of a problem that might be. Certainly I can do a moderate paced stroll on flat ground without too much trouble. Can you give me some insite on this so that I can make a decision about booking excursions? Thanks!
alwayshappytocruise Posted March 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2008 The excursion pick up area is right there on the dock as you exit the ship. It's flat, looks like a big parking lot! I don't think it's much of a walk at all however I will tell you that the couple of times we've gone to Paradise Island it is a fair walk, slightly uphill, to the resort from the little boat that takes you over. Have a great trip.
cb at sea Posted March 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2008 It's definitely not rough terrain! You shouldn't have a problem if you take your time!
