Suite Guarantee

Just curious, has anyone ever booked a suite guarantee and what have you gotten? It seems that when we book a cruise, even a year in advance, the suites are pretty much taken anyway.

I booked a grand suite guarantee last September for my cruise this coming May. I was upgraded to an Owner's Suite.

 

This is the first cruise I've been on that offered a suite guarantee. They also have offered a junior suite guarantee at various points for our cruise.

I booked a suite guarantee and ended up with a nice hump JS once.

Sounds wonderful! I can only imagine what that would be like. The suite guarantee catagory has always been filled when we've gone, although we did luck into a sky suite on Celebrity once when it became cheaper than a CC Cabin, but it was the only one left so no choice of location. It was great though!
