There are so many nice areas on the island that I have never considered renting anything:) , but that's just me. If you have other couples that you are traveling with it probably is worth it if you can split the cost. I love being on the island with my grandson, but now I enjoy the ship on that port day. The food isn't very good on Princess Cays & the ship has that almost empty feel.

For a group of 4 or 6, and especially on a HOT day, it's a worthwhile splurge. We enjoyed having a cool, quiet, out of the way private spot for the day.
