Dominica Whale Watching?

Just wondering if anyone has been able to just get off the ship and find a private company that does whale watching tours? If so, do you know their name and the price? We would like to go whale watching but the price that shoretours and carnival charge is a bit much when you are paying for 5 people. Thanks!!!
