My 6 round-trip tickets from Long Beach (Ca) to Seattle dropped on Monday from $ 307.50 EACH TO $ 217.50 A $ 90 PER TICKET SAVINGS ====$ 540.00

They are sending me a voucher for $ 540.00 good for a year --gues we will have to go back next year.

Alaska Airlines is battling the new Virgin America for traffic up and down the west coast. Some real deals are showing up again.

Jet Blue is starting service between Long Beach (LGB) and Seattle (SEA) in mid-May. It should help make the fares a bit more competitive.

We are flying from LAX, our tickets were $219 R/T and the next day went to over $400. :eek:

How did you get the vouchers? After reading your post, I checked the fares for my flights....I paid $400pp and now it's down to $270 pp. I purchased non- refundable tickets. It is a $75 pp change fee. Did you have non-refundable tickets and change and also get the vouchers?

Appreciate any help anyone has.
