US AIR no longer has a free check-in at the Pan Am Pier.

We had read on these boards two weeks ago that we could check-in with US Air at the Pan Am terminial (after picking up our bags, prior to getting a taxi to the airport). This is NO LONGER the case.

 

The ONLY way to check your bags prior to leaving the pier is to participate in the Baggage Valet Service offered onboard early in the cruise. It's like $20 per person and applies to most major airlines (including US Air now).

 

If you sign up for this service, you can drop-off your luggage prior to exiting the Pan Am terminal and receive boarding passes in your cabin prior to debarkation.
