RC cruise excursion green monkey

We are taking our first cruise on RC with our daughters ages 12 and 13. Thought we would do the Harrisons Cave in morning and the RC excursion 4x4 and Green Monkey tour. Anyone done either of these? Any comments about them?

Thanks for your help. Planning this is much more difficult than I expected!

We did Harrison Caves as part of an all-day tour. It was awesome!

Bridgetown, Barbados

We really enjoyed Barbados. We prearranged for Glory Tour's "Best of Barbados Tour" (Option A) $94 per person (after web discount) plus tips which included lunch, entrance fees, and drinks. It was an all-day tour that ran from 9:00am to 4:00pm. All entrance fees were included. There were just six of us on this guided tour that took us all over the island. Our driver, Stephen, took us first to Harrision Cave where were enjoyed a guided tram tour underground. These caves are spectacular. Then on to Bathsheba on the East Coast for impressive views of the ocean and rock formations. We ate a delicious lunch of Flying Fish, rice and beans, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese casserole, and a coke. We then worked our way to the Wild Life Reserve where we saw an abundance of green-tailed monkeys, tortoises, iguanas, a python, peacocks, turkeys, and other critters I couldn't identify. Stephen then treated us to a Barbados Rum Punch at the bar there. On the West Coast, we took a glass bottom boat to two snorkeling destinations: first visiting a ship wreck, then a spot where we swam with sea turtles (West Coast). Recommended!

We did the 4X4 Monkey Encounter with Celebrity, and it was a lot of fun. Our tour was in the afternoon, so we would be at the reserve at feeding time. We got to the reserve just as they had started feeding the monkeys. There were monkeys everywhere! We also got to see a lot of other animals in the reserve (sort of like a small zoo). A lot of the animals are just running around among the visitors. We really enjoyed it, and would do it again.

Thank you so much for the review of Harrison's Cave. DH says we can go to Kentucky (just next door) for caves, but I will show him the review so he can see how magnificient it is.

Thanks for the Green Monkey advice. Celebrity is part of Royal Caribbean, isn't it? I would think that they will be the same?

Thanks to all of you for your help.

Yeah, Celebrity is part of RCCL, so I would say it is the same tour. I have pictures from our tour, but I can't figure out how to post them on here....sorry.

As for coming to Kentucky for caves (I live here), Mammoth Cave is simply awesome...but as I see from the pictures of Harrison Caves, Harrison has a lot of formations that Mammoth really doesnt offer too much of.

I thought the same thing as your husband...but with me it was Hato caves in Curacao, I figured, "I have been to Mammoth Caves several times, how exciting could some small cave in the Caribbean be?"

Well, it was a totally different experience for me. They were two totally different types of caves, I still like Mammoth the best, but I was glad I experienced the Hato Caves as well....I mean, it was no where near as large and spectacular as Mammoth, but the formations at Hato were really neat to see. It looks like the Harrison caves may be similar to what I saw in Hato.
