We were on the Dawn in December ( no, not during the holiday break) and there were many youngish people on board. Our neice 30, and daughter 33 found plenty of young people to hang out with in Jammers, etc.We remarked at the time what a great mixture there was in age groups onboard. On the whole, I would say the averge person on that trip was approx 40ish!

It must depend on the time of the year and during school breaks. We were one week off from spring break...I imagine that the ship is full of younger folks this week. The reason that we don't cruise is Carinval is quality, they are known for their party ships. We don't get that crazy on a cruise...but we don't want to go to bed at 8 either. Next time maybe we will try RC, heard they are a little better with the 30 plus group.

I heard that the size of the ship means something, seems the younger people like the larger ships. We were on the Crown last year (not during spring break) and the Skywalkers Nightclub was wild at night..real wild. I am 53 and my brother is 9 years younger..he was recently divorced so he loved it. :D....I felt it best not to go there:(, my wife wouldn't have appreciated some of the 'dancing' that was going on:D
