Family of "16" Transportion IAH/Galveston?

Anyone have any experience or info on round trip transportation - IAH/Galveston . We are staying at the Harbor House. DH and I are taking children and grandchildren on Conquest. There are 16 of us.

There are several companies you could rent a small bus from. It would be easier due to the large amounts of luggage.

It's just a thought but enterprise has a drop-off 3 miles from the pier. There is a bus that will take you the rest of the way for $1.00 per person. You could drop-off your luggage and most of the passengers before returning the car and then only the driver will need the $1.00 bus or a taxi ride back. You will probably need 2 cars but considering their low rates it may well be worth the hassle. Our 2 day rental total is only $31 something with pick-up at HOU and drop-off at galveston next to our hotel. Another CC deserves the credit for this info and for saving me $$$ I was spending on another rental we had already booked.

If you do a search you will be able to find info about this company. Last time I talked to owner he was getting a vehicle that would transport 20. Hope this helps....
