cpprinttom Posted March 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2008 We are looking at a room for 3 people that has a king bed, convertible couch and upper bed. Which one would you use for the 3rd person the upper bed or the couch? Do the room stewards automatically make one up or do you have to tell them which one you want to use? Cruisin thru life Posted March 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2008 When we had a cabin with and conv sofa and upper, we used the upper for our daughter. That left the sofa free to sit on in the evenings after they had made her bunk. It also left the sofa free for excess clutter we aquired throughout the week, lol. migmarlin Posted March 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Are the upper beds safe for a 4 year old???
fllady Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Are the upper beds safe for a 4 year old??? I would not put a very young child in them, it is hard to get down from, especially in the dark if they needed to go potty in the middle of the night. I saw where someone who used them also kept a flashlight handy just in case.
gazingm42 Posted March 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2008 When our kids were 4 and 5 we never had a problem. The never fell from them and the kids seem to be able to get off the bunks with no problems. Now getting up and down for adults is another issue. But it can be done for someone who is no longer 20 something.
Jenna1983 Posted March 17, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Definitely the couch. That's what we use.
