I'll be in Hong Kong for the 2nd time, and definitely want to go to Lantau Island this time to see the big buddha. The ship is docked between 945pm, the first evening and leaves 3pm the next day!

 

The last time I was in Hong Kong I did the tram ride up the mountain and the ferry ride over to Macau!

 

Is this possible to get out to Landau island if I get an early start, and what's the best way to get there and get back in a reasonable timeframe??

 

The cruise ship wants $159, which seems a little bloated to me! THanks so much

We are arriving about 7 PM after a 16 hour flight from Chicago and 5 hours on ground in Chicago after a 2 hour flight from Charlotte, so looking for a car service to get from airport to hotel. With all our luggage, being tired, plus I am recovering from a health care issue, just wondering if you have any suggestions for a car service. Greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.
