CruiseTricia - we're scheduled to go on that tour next week. I've seen many positive comments for it. We're doing the 6:30 p.m. tour - (2 hours) and they are picking us up at 5:30 p.m. and they said it won't be a problem to get back in time for our ship to leave at 11 p.m.

We, and our guests, have used Las Tortugas almost exclusively. The take fewer people per tour than other operators. And they leave a little earlier than most of the other operators. That way, you're not one of 1000 kayaks trying to make your way through the thin channel that leads from the bay into the lagoon.

We've written a review of what you can expect when doing a bio-bay tour in Fajardo on our travel blog at http://www.puertoricodaytrips.com/2007/04/07/bio-bay-in-fajardo-by-kayak-or-boat-a-glowing-experience/

We've even included contact info for some of the various operators.
