cruisin kim Posted March 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Hello- Has anyone ever taken the horseback riding tour at Cedar Valley Ranch in Limon, CR? I will be on the Carnival Liberty in May 2008 and it is offered as a shore excursion. I was wondering if it can be booked independent of the cruise line? And if it is nice, worthwhile and if the horses appear to be well cared for? I wouldn't want to go on a tour if the horses or other ranch animals were not loved, but assume they are since the Ranch is a 'frog preserve', they must be conscious of our animal friends. Anyone have any feedback? Kim
LMKohler Posted March 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2008 Hi -- I was at this ranch for a zip line tour in March. Although I didn't do the horse back riding tour, I did remark to my DH that the horses looked very well cared for. I assume if you went to the ranch's website it would tell about tours. It did take about a 40 minute bus ride to get there from Limon.
