CC Group Cruises

This may be a silly question, but why are all of the CC group cruise out of southern Florida ports? Are there group cruises that leave out of Tampa, Jacksonville or Port Canaveral? I would love to do a CC group cruise, but can't travel that far with my group.

The group leader chooses the cruise they are intersted in going on, then asks for any other interested parties for a possible group cruise. So it's really just a matter of someone picking a ship and date leaving out of the ports you mentioned.
