What's the first thing you do, once you get on board?

1. Windjammer for lunch.

2. Explore ship and take some photos.

3. Go to room and drop off carry ons.

4. Head to pool and meet my new best friends carrying the drink of the day.

5. Sigh a very contended sigh as the vacation has officially begun.

We go straight to Portofino and/or Chops to make reservations, then DW goes to the spa to make appointments there. Then dump carry-on at stateroom, next buy DS a coke sticker, and then WJ and finally then back to stateroom to open the bubbly that is most of the time waiting when we board.

 

If no portofino or chops available on the ship we're sailing on, then start at spa and continue from there. and if no bubbly, then go to bar and get a frozen margarita or daquiri, just depends which I ask for, no real rhyme or reason as to which I choose.

Go to our rooms - unpack - meet staff.

 

Browse some more or ppl watch.

Fight our way to a good spot for set sail!

Start with the drink of the day (with two umbrellas), check in at the dining room, explore the ship and then head for the Viking Royal Lounge for drink #2 and the best views on the high seas.

Right at the front door. I hate being on stage for all guests/ diners to view as they enter late.
