SouthCruiser Posted April 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Islas Palomino (Palomino Islands) is simply one of the nicest places to visit when you arrive to port of Callao, and practically an alternative to Ballestas Islands in Paracas. You'll see sean lions and sea birds, and also you'll have the opportunity to swim along with them, within the full 4 hours that takes the tour. You may find a complete digital images gallery, and more information, at Islas Palomino's web site.
SouthCruiser Posted October 24, 2004 Author #2 Share Posted October 24, 2004 An increasing interesting full day trip for birdwatchers arriving to Lima is the pelagic trip to see the sea birds of Peru. Even though you had been weeks at the sea, you as a birdwatcher will have the chance to gather with peers and actually to look for the pelagic species of the peruvian sea. The tour operator for this trip is Ecocruceros, and their website http://www.islaspalomino.com
