Poxy Posted March 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Hello, A couple of friends and I are going on a cruise next month. One of my friends is bringing her 17 month old son with us. Are babies allowed on boat excursions? It seems like pretty much all boat excursions are snorkeling excursions. Obviously the baby couldn't actually go snorkeling, someone would stay on the boat and watch him. ` If not, we will probably go to beach club type places. Thanks. -Amy
I&MsMom Posted March 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Hi! We took our 2.5 year old on a snorkeling excursion on Barbados. It was a private excursion, not through the ship. I think some of the ship excursions have a minimum age. Anyway, she got in with me to swim with the turtles, which was the first stop. Then she was done, so I stayed on the boat with her. We had two more stops, each progressively rougher water conditions, so I was actually happy she didn't want to go in again. In fact, the boat getting tossed around put her to sleep in my arms, and she napped while a lot of the grown-ups were getting sea sick. I would contact the tour company and see what they say. Hope you have a great time!:)
