Now to an important thread - my cruise clock is off a bit

Recommended Posts

It has me getting to the port closer to midnight! I don't want to just sit there waiting for hours! What can I do?????

Has anyone actually gotten to the cruise terminal too early or late due to their cruise clock?????

LOL:D :D

The countdown clocks need to have the option to set the hours as well as the date. I've also got too many hours on mine and it's IRRITATING:p

Hmmm... if I went by the clock below I'd be boarding at 9:00 p.m. tonight! (I wish!)

Exactly my point - this cruise clock thing is dangerous. I wonder if CC can be held liable for damages???

Has anyone else had an issue (I smell a lawsuit afoot)???

Mine is right on the money ... I wouldn't want it responsible for me missing the boat:rolleyes:.

Many thanks to CroozeAddict for getting me motivated to change my clock. Now I can sleep well knowing I will arrive at the dock on time - not too early, and not too late!

Midnight is only that far away. My March 31sts clock is based on midnight of the 31st as well even though the ship sails at 5:30pm That is interesting indeed :D

Just be careful - use your watch if you need - but don't count on that clock. I am sure many have - at their own peril...

I have since successfully updated my clock, and no longer have to worry or fret... Have fun!

Going to look and see if I can change mine to correct time

How did you add this countdown clock to your signature? I tried to put the code in my signature, but all I see is the code and not the image:eek: What's your secret?

Try going to http://www.*****/vacation-countdown-clocks/ - you fill in your data, choose a background, and it generates the code to cut and paste.

Then go to cp on your login, and paste it in - preview to check it... NOTE once you check it, the code goes away. Once you like what you see, paste it in again, but do not preview it, just save it.

As a tip, I pasted the code to Word, and then edit it (like remove the link at the end of the code, and remove the <center> at the beginning - you can also jockey the date and hours to better fit your itinerary.

I know thanks to this tweak, I will arrive at the dock on time.

Sigh... I tried editing mine 100 times yesterday. Just did the new one (I have it on my myspace page) and now it's the code only AND I can't delete it or change my sig for some reason. LOL

Try cutting and pasting the following: Be sure to put a < in front of the code - I removed it so it could be pasted...

embed src="http://www.*****/cd/ccc-vacation/show.swf?clickURL=http://www.*****/&clickLABEL=MySpace Countdown Clocks&flashLABEL=Countdown Clock Codes&skin=http://www.*****/cd/ccc-vacation/skins/10.jpg&text=Libery%20of%0DThe%20Seas&untilColor=6724095&textColor=0&datesColor=0&year=2008&month=3&day=30&hour=21&minute=57&second=58&x=69&y=88" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="300" height="200" name="countdown" align="middle" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /><br><small><a href="http://www.*****/">MySpace Countdown Clocks</a></small></center>

You can then play with the date and time... Though it might be close ;) Try cutting and pasting the following:
