Are Emerald and Ruby Identical Ships?

We're planning on booking the Ruby for a December 2009 Caribbean cruise as soon as itineraries are released for that time period. In the meantime I'm doing lots of research regarding cabin selection (leaning towards a mid-ship mini-suite since there will be four of us: Mom, Dad, DD14 and DS11.) On the Princess website, the Ruby is listed as the "sister ship" to the Emerald. With that being said, is the Ruby going to be identical to the Emerald in terms of stateroom layouts, locations, etc? If so, then I should be able to use Emerald specs in determining what stateroom to select, right?

And even the, the decor doesn't seem to vary much if at all from ship to ship LOL. They may move a couple small rooms around from ship to ship, but the cabin layouts will be the same.
