Help With Honeymoon Cruise

Hi,

 

I am having such a difficult time deciding on our honeymoon cruise. I can't even narrow it down to a cruise line because we have only gone w/ carnival!

 

here is what we are looking for

I am 23 he is 33. We are fun loving, like to relax, have a romantic atmosphere, but at the same time we really want to have lots to do!

I was wanting to go to the panama canal because of the stops and its a little longer of a trip. (For this cruise we didnt want just a 7 nt. cruise)

We want the biggest room for under $2,000 and passengers who like to have fun as well so we dont feel too out of place if we have a couple drinks with dinner.

 

Initially I was looking at Royal: Jewel of the seas and

Princess: Island Princess.

But, I know so little about those lines and ships. I really liked the voyager line, and freedom line because those ships looked like they had so much to do, but they didnt cruise to panama.

 

Anyways, I am rambling, but ANY advice would be so helpful!

I have been on Carnival and Princess, and if you're looking for relaxing atmosphere, but lots to do, I would recommend Princess. Carnival was a little too rowdy for me, and Princess is the Love Boat after all :)

Also, try posting on the Princess board. Someone might have Princess Patters from the Island Princess, so you can get a better idea of activities that they offer during the day and night.
