CowPrincess Posted March 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2008 From the Banff newspaper http://www.banffcragandcanyon.com/ the first grizzly of the season has been seen. The story says this is substantially earlier (nearly 2 months!!) than 10 years ago -- I doubt the validity of the claim but don't have time to research it right now. However, does anyone know how the Rocky Mtn bears compare to the Alaska bears for hibernation cycle -- start and end times?
