Embarkation-Miami

We have sailed out of Miami about 3-4 times and have always been on the ship eating lunch by 12:00. We get to the port about 10:00 check our luggage and proceed to check in. There is a little time to wait but it's fun watching people and making friends while waiting.

Sorry search is down I'm sure this has been asked.

I was told that Embarkation starts at 1:30 PM should you arrive earlier then this time?

Most of Carnival's "official" embarkation times start at 1:30, but most people (myself included) start showing up anytime after 10:30. I've found the prior to 10:30 and there is a good chance that the ship hasn't cleared the previous cruisers.

My usual target arrival time is 11am, and barring unforseen delays I'm almost always on the ship by noon. They ask that you not go to your cabin until after 1:30 but the Lido buffet is open as are several of the bars.
