manuch Posted March 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2008 Can any one tell me the best way to book a cabin. Does each sight have there own inventory? No matter how early I go on line to search for a cabin all that seems to be avalable are foward aft or near stairways, How do you get better locations? Thanks for any info . tomko2 Posted March 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2008 RCI only shows a few cabins on their website. Best thing to do is decide when and where you want to sail then check price by the category you wish to book then call up and ask for the cabin you would prefer to have. Generally we book as early as possible so we can get "our" cabin. We always have a short list of our three top picks before we place the call. Reviewing deck plans and seeking advice from other cruises even looking at pictures others have taken really help in the decision making process. Good luck and Happy Cruising. cb at sea Posted March 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2008 Call them on the phone and book! They have ALL the avail. cabins at their fingertips! And--you get to talk to a real person! Oh--and have the deck plans in front of you when booking--no surprises that way!

Rare GaryWT Posted April 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2008 We call our TA, tell her what we want and she goes and gets it or comes back with something close. Sometimes the rooms near the stairs are the best, if it is close to everything you want. We always try to get close to the stairs and save a ton of time walking up and down the hallways.
