crewsin250 Posted April 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2008 We have a group cruise booked on the Holiday in July and my mother and some other members are not in wheelchairs but have a little trouble getting up and down. I have read on these boards that some ships offer raised toilet seats and stools for the shower and I was wondering if anyone has used these items before onboard the Holiday. Thanks Paul
rdrseller Posted April 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2008 You can contact your TA or PVP and they will get you a form from Carnival for special needs issues. They may be able to accomodate you. My husband is in a wheel chair, but a form is needed. Enjoy your cruise!
Montycruiser Posted April 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2008 On our cruise last month, we were upgraded for being a past passenger, we were put in cabin U-85. They let us know is was handicaped cabin. I made sure to let them know we didn't need it and if someone did to please move us. The only difference in the cabin was a seat in the shower, the safe was lower in the closet and the cabin door was wider making one of the closets more narrow. Hope this helps just contact Carnival and let them know what you need.:)
