Reverse walking tour??? Fort to Port

Hi. I read on one of the other boards about a reverse walking tour you can do on your own. Does anyone have a copy of this? I've tried to search online with no luck.

We are in port 3p-12a, and would like to take a taxi up to the Fort, and then do a self guided walking tour back down to the port. I didn't know if there was a set tour, with a map maybe, that anyone had.

Thanks!

Do not take a cab. Both trolleys go the fort and both are free...just hop on one!!!

Actually, there are 3 trolley routes ... all are free ... only two of them go to the fort. One is the open air trolley ... more of a "tram" actually with two tram cars hooked together. The other is one of the "small bus" trolleys ... the one labeled "City Hall / El Morro".

The one labeled just "City Hall" stays in the shopping area and doesn't go to the fort at all.

You can find routes and all the stops detailed on our travel blog ... http://www.puertoricodaytrips.com/2007/12/18/old-san-juan-trolley/
