patncl Posted April 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2008 We get back into port at 10 am and our JFK flight does not leave untill 8pm. Does anyone know of a tour company that will pick us up at the cruise terminal, do a tour of somekind and drop us at JFK?
Captain Canuck Posted April 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2008 They have vans and shuttles. go to their website. They do a 6 hour tour and will charge $75 for pick up and drop off at the port. For larger groups they charge $15 a head for pick up and the same for drop off. I am trying to organize a group of 10 from Brooklyn on May 26 ...would work out to $95 a person...so far no interest. hope you have better luck

Aloha1 Posted April 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2008 We were a little concerned about this as we do not fly until 7pm from Newark. All the tour operators we have contacted do not pick up from the port and do not have the facility to store lugauage on the Tour transportaion. We have come up with the following (only two of us to consider). Taxi to drop off our luggage to storage - SCHWARTZ TRAVEL SERVICES 357 W. 36th St. (btwn 8th & 9th Ave.) NY NY 10018 Tel: 212-290-2626 (10$ per 24hrs) Only 1 mile to tour pick up point New York Party Shuttle Tour starts at 10.00pm for approx 5.5hrs booked with Viator.com Drop off Point is the Empire State Building so will need to get back to luggage storage approx 10min in taxi =, then on to airport. We think this will work as long as we are orgainsed, beats sitting at the airport for 9hrs. Hope this helps, enjoy your curise.:) :) :)

aclay Posted September 20, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 20, 2008 Due to a last minute change - we are in need of somewhere to deposit our luggage on October 18th once we disembark the Royal Princess in NYC early morning before our 8.45pm flight from JFK back to Zurich. We want to go up the Empire State Building, walk around Times Square and see a bit of Central Park / anything else will be a bonus. We are leaning towards booking a cheap hotel to deposit our luggage at, then heading off by foot/ Metro (as we are very fit and happy to walk) to sightsee before collecting our luggage later in the day and heading off using the Metro/ Airtrain to JFK - is this a good/ savvy idea? Any knowledge from locals is much appreciated.. Cheers A&L
