melika091900 Posted April 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2008 if you leave from california, its usually cold, the 1st day and the last, not freezing, but in the 50-60's we always bring one warm outfit, and a light jacket, as far as mexico its perfect, its whale season for 1 and then its usually in the 80's and not a lot of humidity its perfect, our favorite time to go . Nebr.cruiser Posted April 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2008 We cruised from San Diego to Acapulco in January this year. As we expected (we'd done the other route before) it was cool the first day out, maybe 55-60, a little warmer the second day, about 68, nice and warm at all the Mexican ports, then cool and cooler on the last two sea days. It was really too cool to lay outside for me on either of those days. We spent a lot of time indoors. The wind was variable from about average for a moving ship to a little high. It wasn't any worse than usual.

melika091900 Posted April 3, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2008 thank you for your help.....how is the situation with the wind?? and do you mean the day of embarktion or the day after that being cold?? it all depends on the weather in CA, but since you leave late, you wont notice it, one the way back, it can be cold and windy the last sea day, but nothing real bad..
