Business ethics of Costa

I am cruising with Costa for the first time. I have heard they are being sued by a passenger group, but I am unfamiliar with the subject matter. In my initial experience I have encountered some issues involving ethics on the part of one of their So. American offices, particularly in the way they handle charges and payments. In my opinion they used a bad rate of exchange and would not allow payment in US currency to avoid it. Does anyone know of any business ethics problems involving this line that they can share?
