bryanool Posted September 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2004 Hi, We are staying in Ft. Lauderdale the night after our cruise (port of miami). I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to get from the Port of Miami to Ft Lauderdale Airport Area? Thanks
springtxbill Posted September 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2004 It depends on the size of your group as which would be best.:)

springtxbill Posted September 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2004 Check floridalimo.com for a shared ride shuttle. That would be best for the two of you.:)
serene56 Posted October 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2004 You could take the shuttle service back to the FLL airport= maybe your hotel has a free shuttle from the airport too. (
bryanool Posted October 1, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted October 1, 2004 That is one of the options I've been looking at. We were also considering taking the train that goes to both airports. We can get to MIA and take a train to FLL for $4 .. might be cheaper than the shuttle to FLL from the port.
serene56 Posted October 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2004 May be cheaper but you will need to take a cab to the train. then slep your luggage from the train to the airport.
StephenJohnson Posted October 1, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2004 If it were me, I'd see if I couldn't get a rental car pickup at the Pier and drop off in Ft. Lauderdale. Rental cars are cheap in Florida, and you can often get free drop off in the Ft.Lauderdale-Miami axis. Probably not the cheapest, but the most convenient option.
