Mariner Pictures

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have some great pictures of the Mariner to share? We just booked her for October 16, 2005 (I know, a long time away). Will be sailing with a group of addicted friends and wanted a particular cabin, 9690. I am looking for some pictures for the cruise folder that I put together before a cruise.....kind of a teaser to myself icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know about photos of the Mariner...however, if you go to the following site, there are photos of 9690 of the NOS (room layout should be the same) Just click on the site, then click of "NOS part one" (I believe). Some very nice person informed me of these photos when DH and I were debating between 9690 & 9692 on the EOS.

I hope this helps.

Rocky,

You`ll love the cruise, just came back from it the 28th, nothing bad to say and not enuff words in the dictionary to what a great time my son and I had.

It was our first cruise ever and were going back.

We were in 9636 and the balcony was beautiful, thatgentle rocking put me to sleep everynight by midnight.

I`m going thru withdraw at this time as I miss the smoke salmon I had every morning for breakfast. The ports were fantastic as well as the weather. Stay away from the "Cafe Promenade", I gained 10 of my pounds from there, you know its bad when on your third night the server "Miles" has your plate waiting for you.

Even did well with Blackjack, payed for all of my excursions. Defintely play minature golf on the ship, then play again when the ship is moving. Also do the rock wall, I waited till the last day at sea and found it was FUN, FUN, FUN.

Once I did it with no effort, I had to do it again easier than it looks. Can`t say to much bout the nite life as I had my 9 yr old with me, but Playo Sol in Cozumel was a blast as well as Dunn Falls in Jamica.

Sting Ray city got canceled as it was to ruff, that was a bummer, but we hit the beach instead.

Save $$$ by not doing the beach excursion in Grand Cayman, instead just take a taxi to 7 mile beach and use the public access, lay your towels down below some of the private motels and kick back and enjoy. The excursions are just like herding cattle in a roped off section of beach where your lounge chairs are all on top of each other, side by side.

Taxi is about $3 per person and takes about 7 minutes to get there. also you can usually talk your way into a deal or at least I always try.

Rented jet skis in Grand Bahamas right below Atlantis, son and I for half an hour was $35.

Just get out there.................and enjoy.
