Ugh! I wouldn't get into a jacuzzi or hot/bathtub anywhere...on any ship or hotel:eek:

I completely agree with your logic, although we have been known to use them after running a "cleaning bath" first. I don't think people realize the way bacteria multiplies between baths in the piping to the jets... I won't disgust anyone with what we saw come out of the jets in a certain hotel in Vegas, but it was sooo nasty. At least with a hot tub, you have chemicals to control the growth. We have even decided against installing a jacuzzi in our master bath at home, and opted for an outdoor hot tub instead.
