We just got home and the Miracle is all the things everyone said and more. The weather didn't cooperate the first two days but after that it was all cake. I'll write more later but just to let you know, MUSIC UNLIMITED will be on the Miracle until the first week of January then they go on vacation for 8 weeks. They are the best. BTW, a passenger 3 doors down from us died of a heart attack on Friday night. Very sorry for the wife but the cabin was sealed tight until someone could get in after we left the ship. Debark is a breeze at Port everglades.

All the details later.

TT:)

It is so sad when you hear about someone passing away on a cruise. It also seems so common, which surprises me. Rumors are someone on our Miracle cruise passed away after a diving accident in Belize. I also heard about a Miracle passenger drowning in Costa Rica in February. Then there are all the deaths from natural causes.

Depends on how you look at it. I can think of worse ways to go than while on a cruise. Though, if it should happen to me, I would hope it would be on the last night, rather than the first. I think it just seems common because when it happens, it gets sensationalized on the internet or TV. Just like when a large group of people get sick on a ship. I get sick every time I fly, I mean EVERY time. But they don't put it on the 6:00 news, so nobody hears about it.

There was quite a few sick folks Monday and Tuesday, the water was really choppy and the ship did some bouncing around. But on Wednesday the sun came out and all was what we were hoping for. The train ride in St. Kitts is a very expensive nothing. Before the train left the turn around the engine jumped the tracks and it took about 2 hours to get it back on and moving. So, the rum was passed out freely and plenty. But the ride itself is not what it is said to be, unless you enjoy seeing a (one) monkey and a lot of dead sugar cane fields.

We just got off the Miracle on Monday too. We had a great time. Yes, the first couple days (and nights!!) were pretty rough. Bonine got me through it all just fine! Music Unlimited was very good.... and we also saw the Village Idiots. They were pretty funny. We had such a good time! We also thought demarkment was very organized and pretty quick. Much better than a year ago on the Valor.

i was there too. weather was horrible the first 2-3 days. islandw were all good in different ways. st maarten is always especially beautiful. i did find the crowd to be a little bit older especially during peak spring break time. but then again im a colege student. i was one of the 2 young guys that did the fear factor dancing :)

overall the ship was beautiful, service was decent and food was okay as well...id definitly sail again if there were younger ppl

We agree, "not our favorite Carnival Ship" either, we like her sister ship LEGEND, better. Best parts: Nick & Nora's Restaurant, Tribute to the Beatles & Music Unlimited. We asked if there would be a "Bathrobe & Beer Party" like the LEGEND had last year & we were told that, "they don't push alcohol", but we could wear our bathrobes to any function!!Oh well................Also, St. Martin/St. Maarten/Orient Beach was a good tour as well.

On the Miracle last week, at least we got a print of the ship the last night in the main dining room. On the Legend fresh out of dry dock in January, we were told that Carnival no longer gave those prints out.

VIP embarkation in Ft Lauderdale is leaps and bounds ahead of Tampa's archaic methods.

Also, the Casino staff on the Miracle is 10 times better than on the Legend.

As far as the weather goes, it never rains or gets too windy in the casino. :D
