Room Upgrades???

If we want to try and get a room upgrade (say a D2 to a Jr. Suite) when we reach the port how do we try to do this. My husband said he thought he read somewhere on these boards that there is a special area at the Miami port to go to try to do it but I cant find any information on it. I have also heard that if they have any available upgraded rooms from what I booked that I could possibly get at a discounted rate, is any of that true? Thanks :confused: :confused: :confused:

After checking in, you proceed to the pier coordinator to see what staterooms might be available for upgrade. Definitely don't count on anything--for my last 3-4 cruises, nothing was available when I checked.

Upgrades at pier are hard to get. If you really want to upgrade call and do it now.
