Closest Car Rental to Ferry in PDC

Hello - We are planning on doing Tulum on our own. We thought we could rent a car, that way we could try to get Coba in too. Does anyone know the closest car rental agency to the ferry in Playa Del Carmen. Muchas Gracias;)

In fact a couple of weeks ago we took the Ultramar(yellow) ferry(there are two competing companies) over to PDC. They had a rep from I believe it was executive or budget on the ferry itself looking for people to rent cars to. He had a cell and was calling in info so that cars would be ready when they arrived. Pretty slick I thought. If not there are lots of reps and car rental places a block in from the water in PDC. You won't have any trouble finding any.

Agreed - there are many in the PDC port once you take the ferry over. If you are very tight on time you may want to ask them where the car is at. Some of the places have the cars parked at the port and some will have to put you on a shuttle to take you to the main office.
