Taxis at Southampton station

We are taking a TA from Southampton and thinking of using the train from South Wales. Does anyone know what the availability of taxis are at the station please.

It's a large station, with a continuous and plentiful supply of cabs, mainly doing short trips. Even if it's busy, you shouldn't have to wait more than a few minutes.

Thanks Anteeta. We too will likely be arriving in Southampton by train on this year's trip and was wondering the same as our OP.

There are actually two entrances at Southampton, all you need to is decide which is easier to use with all the luggage

For some reason l always use the back entrance

Its not getting there l have trouble with, its coming back at the end and all my purchases, l had this mode of transport after my last cruise, l fear l may be using it again in October....

Im just thankfull the driver used a padlock, l had visions of the back door flying open on the motorway.....

l of course was well strapped in:)
