Rushtonfamily Posted April 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Hi everyone. We had a cruise booked on the Indy for 28 June 08 round the Med. For one reason and another we've now changed this to 4 Oct again on the Indy but this time round the Canaries. Also changed stateroom type from an outside (deck 2) to a balcony (deck 9). Anyone have any thoughts on cruising that time of year or statement change? Thanks very much everyone!:)
dynamitedeb Posted July 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2008 Hi we cruised on the Indy - Med Treasures- on 31 May and it was amazing, the ports were interesting and the ship was mind blowing!!p it was exhausting though as there were lots of shore excursions and places to visit at the ports. We are booked on a Canaries cruise for next year and from what we can gather there is not so much to see at the ports but I think the weather is more reliable in this part of the world. What we are looking for is a relaxing holiday without too much sightseeing and just going for a tapas and meal at the ports. If its history that you are after then I think the Med and Italian Treasures are good for that and Canaries will be more of a chilling out cruise- hope you have a great time!! Rushtonfamily Posted July 21, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted July 21, 2008 So glad you had a great cruise. It's good to know that the ship meets with approval of other brits. Can't wait to get on her but it's still a while to go yet! Am soooooo looking forward to it. What cabin did you have? Did you travel with kids? Thanks Jo:)
