JonnyCruiser Posted April 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Can anyone tell me the lenght and depth of the pools on QM2? Thank you I don't know about the other four, but according to this Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Mary_2), the kiddie pool is just 1 inch deep. ;)
JonnyCruiser Posted April 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I forgot to add - my wife and I will be sailing on the QM2 tomorrow (!), April 16. I'll take my yardstick with me and get back to you Wednesday night... Any other questions? Anyone?

paul1959 Posted April 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2008 They are all about the same depth. 3-4 ft for the Minnows pool and 5ft or so for Pavillion and Deck 8. Minnows pool is about 15-20 ft. long. Pavillion...about the same. Deck 8 pool...about 25 ft? These are all small pools. There are two splash pools - baby pool and the one on deck 13 they are both around 3-4 inches deep. The water levels vary considerably even during the cruise. No clue about the Canyon Ranch pool. All deck pools are open to all ages, but the Minnows Pool is for the kids. It proved to be the most popular for all ages, however since it is the most sheltered. Some older folk tended to get a bit grumpy though, when the kids would splash or do cannonballs - go figure. Kids are allowed in all other deck pools, but with direct parental supervision. Most pools were adults, however and kids stuck to the Minnows pool No diving anywhere. More info than you asked for...:) Paul
Sirius Cruiser Posted April 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2008 JohnnyCruiser, If you get this before you embark, would you please ask one of the Officers to see about having the bow cam readjusted so that the horizon shows. It now points directly into the sea next to the port bow.
